I AM STOKED!!!!I WON, I WON!!! HURRAY!!! I made myself do all my email business tonight before looking on the blog for the exciting conclusion of this contest. I missed 2. I knew the Gibson's apricot fields were gone but I never heard anyone say where Dad got his cots, and I knew I could not ask. County Mayo, not County Cork. I wasn't sure. I would like to know who got that one correct. HOURS were spent online looking up submarines, till one sounded correct. I knew it had 2 l's (Jallao). I promise to use the prize money toward Thanksgiving groceries. You are all invited! VSS

Congrats to Susy! I figured Cefe would do well. I just checked mine and got 23 1/2 (overlooked "make" of truck on #24. #8 only one I got from DVD (watched tonight). Vin, guess you can forget things even after 2 yrs. working on PoF, but 28 or 30 very impressive! Happy to find answer to submarine ship to have for the record. These are the stories, please pass them down! (That reminds me, we should get the words to cousin Tom's song from Sarah.) The game was fun! Look forward to seeing Cefe's upcoming! Curious if any grandchildren played and how they did. We're in on Thanksgiving at Schroeters...shower open!
Love,
Maria

Dear Maria,
Glad you can come for Thanksgiving, the more the merrier. Lets put Carson in charge of ballgames like last year, that was fun. I kinda feel like I've taken on Gammy's role of being the Thanksgiving hostess. I love it. Just to set the record straight, did "County Mayo" get mentioned IN the POF movie? I don't remember. I bet Sean got that one correct, and maybe Josefa, she's very Irish. But the Flores for cots? Hey, that was never in the movie, isn't that a recent change? Who else out there played this trivia game? VSS

OK, let me set some records straight. Not all the questions came from the video, several I just thought up and a few I called Dad for the answers if I didn't know them already (ie. Flores for 'cots). I know this game gave Susy and unfair advantage but figured she'd use the money wisely. On that note, not sure where we'll be for T-giving, but enjoy past visits to Schroeties and Gammy's alike. As for who competed, no Gen. C's or brothers in Gen. B; but Peggy, Susy, Cefe, Maria, Anita. Only Maria and Anita got County Mayo right.

Stay tuned for several new trivia contests and prizes very soon!

I got 8 right. County Mayo. I also go the cots right, Serapio Flores is my grammar school friend, Pat Flores' father...but I missed the TUESDAY at church thing, why Tuesday's? What else did I miss again Rick, send me my answers, I got more right, j.k.
Congrats Susy & Cefe.
