Wedding Update Part 4

So Santa Cruz is out and San Juan Bautista is in. Close to "home" and quaint as heck.

We are almost sure of a Sept. 27 date but I'll leave the details out for now as we need to firm up the church to match the venue and make sure everything lines up time-wise before making the official announcement.

Suffice to say this has been an arduous process of selecting the all important city, venue and date. Much longer than we planned. However, I believe that through our perseverance we've selected a location and place which accommodates all of our wishes. No curfew, a great caterer, outdoorsy, etc.

I look forward to posting on here when we are 100% sure, and will give everyone invited hotel/inn options at that time.

Thanks for all your support during this stressful time. Now the fun part of preparing the details.

Glad you are keeping in "close to home". It makes for a wonderful story for the rest of your life. Mom would be so proud of you! I know it! You've worked really hard at this and you are right, now is the fun part.
Love, Anita

Rick & Gia,
Yeah, it's getting exciting! I too like it being close(r) to home. Everything happens for a reason. Once you get all confirmed, Ridgemark would be great to get a block of rms. (You probably already thought of that.) I once stayed at the San Juan Inn and it was quaint. Congrats on getting this far, and enjoy the next 6 1/2 mos. leading up to your BIG DAY!
Love you,
Maria

Just found out that Don Christopher's ranch is the former home of the Lavignino's which are the Caetano's grandparents and Anne and Lenny's parents were married there. I am in contact with Anne daily by email (she's in NY), and Gia and I are friendly with Lenny who lives in SF.

San Juan Inn is cheap, kind of a motor lodge, but it's clean. We blocked a few rooms at La Posado which is downtown SJB - will use for out of state guests, and will do Ridgemark soon.

OMG, is is 6 1/2 months already, seemed like yesterday was 1 year, when i was getting the ring.

Will update y'all on the 'fun' stuff, i know you're all waiting to hear about THE colors.

Are you guys calling it THE Wedding, like David C?
